This commercial grade doorway beam is perfect for use across gateways or garage doors; basically anywhere you need a longer range than our LA-5195. Importantly, this unit has been designed to be used in genuine commercial environments such as warehouses and parking lots where a more robust unit is required.

- The units are housed in IP66 rated enclosures allowing use in damp or dusty environments. Cable glands are also included.

The LA-5196 is supplied only with the transmitter and Receiver units and two cable glands. You will need a power supply (eg MP-3031) but please note that a long power cable run may require two power supplies to overcome voltage drops on the DC Cable. Also, you will need a buzzer or siren if you want an audible alarm (eg AB-3462), and two core flex such as WB-1702 for connecting the relay output.
