Enables two PCs to share the same cable run & wall outlet. For correct operation, a splitter is required at each end of the cable run or if two wallplates are used, connected to each wallplate. These splitters must be used with a network switch. Sold individually. Two units required for correct operation.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Devices will not operate correctly if a splitter is plugged into a single outlet. Typically D 5107's are used in pairs. This adaptor may not operate with Gigabit networks.
